Team Leader, Friendship
I am the wife to a wonderful Husband, Dan, and the mom of 3 children. A typical day for me includes home educating our children and keeping our household running. I grew up in Canada in a family with 3 brothers, one of whom has special needs. Through out my life God has put me in various places within the Human Services field, whether volunteering or paid employment. Now I feel God’s call in leading this Friendship program. He has given me a heart for individuals with special needs and the desire to see them grow in the knowledge and love of God.
Tanya took over leading Friendship in 2012. Under her leadership the program has nearly doubled in size and we are now serving almost 30 adults at each of our meetings. Learn more about our Friendship ministry or the national ministry.
