From Your Vitality Team: What is burning a hole in your wallet? Is it that Coffee Card waiting to be a little blessing to someone?  Go ahead, you can do it!!  We believe in you!

The Vitality team would like to thank Bud B for volunteering to build the Little Library for us!  And thank you to Lorraine for agreeing to help stock the books. Also, Mattea stepped up with ideas for teen books. In the near future there will be a spot in the foyer for donations to the Little Library- more on that later.

Bible Reading for this Week

Read through Chapter 10 of Believe this week as you ponder the following questions:

  1. What in this chapter spoke to me the most?  Was there something I saw in a new light?
  2. What in this chapter draws me to live more fully for Christ?
  3. Is there something that I would want to share from my heart with someone who may not know Jesus as their Savior?

  • Lou & Ev K

Pray for Christians in Nigeria:  JOS, Nigeria (Morning Star News) – At least 32 people were killed in a Muslim Fulani herder attack on a Christian area of north-central Nigeria on Tuesday (Feb. 26), sources said.

The early morning assault on villages in and around Maro, in Kajuru County of Kaduna state, came after a Feb. 10 herdsmen attack on Angwan Barde, in the same county, that killed 10 Catholic Christians along with an unborn child.

In this week’s attack in Maro, the Fulani herdsmen also damaged church buildings and property, and the Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA) reported that many of its missionaries working among the area Adara (known as Kadara by the Hausa) and Katari ethnic groups have been displaced.

Christians make up 51.3 percent of Nigeria’s population, while Muslims living primarily in the north and middle belt account for 45 percent.

Nigeria ranked 12th on Open Doors’ 2019 World Watch List of countries where Christians suffer the most persecution.

  • Our leaders at all levels serve with character, competence, and conviction.
  • A spirit of collegiality pervades, with our people trusting our leaders and our leaders trusting our people.
