1. Describe the perfect worship service. Where? What happening?  Who is present? What are you doing?
2. Context (John 4:3-6, Gen 33:18-20, 34:25-27, 48:22)
3. The Gift of God (John 4:10)
   1. Is the Gift Jesus Himself? (John 3:16)
   2. Is the Gift the Holy Spirit? (John 7:38-39)
   3. YES! It is both (John 14-17, 4:21)
4. Worshipping the Father in Spirit and Truth
   1. True Worship has nothing to do with external location (John 4:21, 23)
      1. True worship isn’t about place
      2. True worship isn’t about external things –
   2. True worship has nothing to do with genealogy (John 4:21)
   3. Involves Acknowledging Jesus as the Son (John 4:21, 14:6, Rev 5)
   4. Spirit and truth are not separate things (John 4:23)
   5. Involves The Spirit of God (Jn 16:13, 4:14, Ezek 37)
   6. Involves our spirits (Lk 10:27)
   7. Centered on truth
   8. God is seeking worshippers more than we are seeking God (John 4:23, Lk 19:10)
5. Advent is about Jesus giving us the greatest gift possible: hearts that truly worship
