We are a Council led Congregation, currently made up of 5 elders, 5 deacons and a senior pastor and a youth pastor. The Elders oversee the doctrine and life of our members, while the deacons help us to engage in meaningful ministry to the needs of our body and our world.
Additionally, we are a covenantally reformed congregation connected to the Christian Reformed Church of North America (CRCNA). This means that our elders, deacons and pastors covenant together to encourage and support one another and to hold each other accountable to faithful lives that honor and glorify God.
In order for this support, encouragement and accountability to occur, we participate in the CRCNA Classis Pacific Northwest, which is our regional gathering of sister congregations stretching from Olympia to the Canadian Border, including Alaska. Two to four times each year we send 2 or more delegates to meet and discuss ministry issues relevant to all our churches, to examine candidate for ordination and to provide oversight as needed.
