   1. The Bible begins and ends with God (Gen 1:1, Rev 22:3-5)
   2. 4 Assertions
      1. God is one (Dt 6:4-5)
      2. God is Three
         1. OT Hints of the plurality in the godhead (Gen 1:1-2, 1:26-27, Dt 6:4)
         2. 3, not 2 or 4 or more (Jn 1:10, Col 1:15-17, Heb 1:2, Mt 28:19, Acts 7:55, Rev 4-5)
      3. The 3 persons are each fully God (Athanasian Creed)
         1. Father is worshipped (Jn 4:23)
         2. Jesus is worshipped (Lk 24:52)
         3. Spirit is equated with God (Acts 5:3-4, Revelation 4-5)
      4. Each of the persons is distinct from the others (Jn 1:1)
2. So what?
   1. Doctrine of Trinity is relational (Ex 34:6-7)
   2. Doctrine of the Trinity teaches us about true communion/fellowship
   3. Fullness of the deity will be involved in your salvation (Titus 3:4-7)
   4. The Trinity enriches our understanding of righteousness
