Introduction

1. 7 I am statements in Gospel of John (Jn 6:35, 8:12, 10:7, 10:11, 11:25, 14:6, 15:1)
2. I am the Light of the World (Jn 8:12, 28)
   1. Location: Temple Treasury (Jn 8:20)
   2. First, No are Welcome (Gal 3:28)
   3. Second, Within the Treasury/Court of Women are 4 giant columns each containing a Giant Menorah/Candlestick. (Jn 8:12)
      1. The Jewish Liturgy of The Shema (Deut 6:4-9)
      2. Hebrew Yotzer Or Blessing “Who creates Light”[1]
   4. Meaning:
      1. All people outside of Jesus are in the dark (Jn 8:12)
      2. If we walk with Jesus we wil be walking with God (Jn 8:29)
      3. Salvation is predicated on walking with Christ (Jn 7;17, 8:31-32)
      4. We will also be the Light of the World (Mt 5:14-16)
