            1. Worn down slowly
            2. Captured
            3. Blinded
            4. Enslaved

Applications:

1. 1. 1. 1. The danger of the desire to be loved
            1. Often gets twisted in people
            2. Blinds people to the dangers they are flirting with and walking headlong into.
         2. True of any sinful proclivity we have (Dt 16:19, 28:29, Mt 23:16-26, Rom 1)
         3. There is always a last stand
         4. The eyes are the lamp of the body (Mt 6:22-23)

Truly seeing

1. 1. 1. 1. Route out of enslavement is twofold:
            1. Crying out to God
            2. Dying to ourselves
         2. Crying out to God (Judg 16:28)
         3. Dying to ourselves (Judg 16:30, Gal 2:20)
