Who are these 2 minor judges?

          1. Tola (Judg 10:1, Ps 8:4, Ex 25:4, 26:1, Is 53:5)
          2. Jair (Judg 10:3-5)

Sin (Judg 10:6, Dt 29:25, Jer 2:13, Rom 12:1)

          1. A list elucidating how we turn away from God.
          2. Personal reflection
          3. God punished the people for their sin (Judg 10: 7-8, 2:15)

Confession (Judg 10:10, Ps 51:4)

          1. Admitting of having sinned
          2. Naming of the offense against God
          3. Identifies the reason
          4. Naming of the actual thing done.

God’s response (Judg 10:11-14, 6:10, 3:13, 3:31, Ex 17:9-11, 1Chr 4:41)

          1. This is probably one of the most surprising responses of God in the Bible
          2. Not the response we expect from the LORD. Why is this?

Repentance (Judg 10:16)

          1. This is repentance
            1. Stopping the sin, putting it away and returning to the LORD.
            2. Repentance isn’t a vocal response, it is a change in lifestyle.
