a.    Jesus makes three very important statements after calling the brothers foolish.

                                               i.     The Christ was going to be a suffering servant before being glorified.

                                             ii.     The OT scripture prove this.

                                            iii.     Shows how all the scripture points to him, (Jn 5:39)

b.    I would like to do some of the same:

                                               i.     Gen 3:15

                                             ii.     Zech 12:10 (Matt 26:28)

                                            iii.     Isaiah 53 (1Pet 2:21-25, Acts 8)

IV.           The Messiah Opens our Eyes (Lk 23:30-31)

a.    The Rez of the Messiah changed the world by changing one human heart at a time. (HC45)
