Recalling Jonah
- Jonah responds like a sulking child who runs away from his father’s question.
- He refuses to answer (Jonah 4:2)

God as one who sows in tears to seek and save the lost
- As Teacher to Jonah
- A Living Parable (Jonah 4:6, 7, 8)
- The Vine – Symbol for the people of God (Ps 80:8, Jer 2:21)
- The Worm – Symbol of death and judgment (Acts 12:23, Dt 28:39)
- The Wind
- When we ask God to sanctify us and grow us, are we ready for the kind of tact that he may take?
- A Living Parable (Jonah 4:6, 7, 8)
- As Exposer of Jonah’s Heart
- Asks him a Question (Jonah 4:9)
- God is trying to expose Jonah’s heart
- As Reclaimer (Jonah 4:10-11, Eph 2:13-16)
- God’s character is one of redeeming the lost, rescuing the erring, saving the sinner.
