What is the New Perspective on Paul?

For those in the theological world, the New Perspective on Paul has existed for many years.  Men like NT Wright, EP Sanders and James Dunn have worked to promote a new view of Paul’s theological teachings that differs from the classic Protestant understanding of justification by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone.   There are other areas that the New Perspective tackles as well, like penal substitutionary atonement and works righteousness.  But if you want to hear a short 4-5 minutes introducing the New Perspective on Paul and showing its flaws from a traditional protestant viewpoint, then watch this video by Dr. Robert Cara at Westminster Theological Seminary.
