2Samuel 6 – the Ark comes to Jerusalem

Michal’s disdain and attempted shame (2Sam 6:16, 20)

1. 1. 1. 1. 1. The word shamelessly uncovers is Hebrew way of saying David exposed himself.
            2. Michal sought to shame King David
            3. But David knew truth from appearance. (2Sam 6:21-22)
               1. How often do you and I let the perceptions of others affect our worship?
               2. What would completely God focused worship look like for you in the presence of the people of God?

David understood the great truth that everyone is already exposed before the Lord.

The Greater Gospel Truth is We have a divine covering! (Gal 3:26-27)
