      3. Pure (Titus 2:5)
   3. Speech (Titus 2:3, 2:8-9, Luke 7:10, Col 4:6)
      1. Older women likewise are to be…Not slanderers (2:3)
      2. Young men are to be of Sound speech (2:8)
      3. Bondservants/slaves are Not argumentative (2:9)
   4. Family (Titus 2:4-5, Eph 5:25)
      1. Love their husbands and children (2:4)
      2. Submissive to their own husbands (2:5)
      3. Love your wife (Eph 5:25)
   5. Work (Titus 2:5, 9, 10)
      1. how to be Working at home (2:5)
      2. Submissive to their own masters in everything…(2:9)
      3. Not pilfering (2:10)
3. All of this is sound doctrine (Titus 2:1)
   1. Sound doctrine is not just about cognitive comprehension, but includes ethical action.
   2. Self-control isn’t
      1. Try harder
      2. Human effort
   3. Self-control is a gift of Grace (Titus 2:11-14)
4. 3 Works of Grace
   1. Grace brings salvation (Titus 2:11, 14a)
   2. Grace Forms us to say Yes and No (Titus 2:12, 14b)
   3. Grace gives us hope (Titus 2:13)
