Prayer Requests:

This week we are asked to pray for Len and Terry Vander Woude, Don and Tena Vanderpol, Lee and Arlene Veenstra, Ken and Elaine Wick, Joe and Barb Zylstra. Suggestions for prayers would be for their spiritual growth, opportunities to see Christ in their everyday life, and anything else that God puts on your mind for them.

Jerry & Faye Hop are volunteering with World Renew Disaster Response Services from October 29 – November 19 in San Marcos, TX due to flooding in May & October, 2015. Please support them with your prayers while they are on this assignment. Pray for safety, good health, a meaningful experience with opportunities to touch and give hope to hurting people in this relief ministry.

Announcements:

The Lord’s Supper, which we celebrate today, is a way for the Christian to remember the sacrifice of Christ. If you have not yet believed in Christ as Savior, we invite you to watch and learn. We are glad you are here! If you have questions about Jesus, please see Pastor Scott after the worship service. The bread we use is allergen free and contains no wheat, dairy, nuts or soy. However, it may contain egg.

Next Sunday during the worship time instead of a sermon by Pastor Scott we will have a guest from International Christian Response speaking about their work in Pakistan.

Our family wishes to express a large thank you for the encouragement and gifts we received last month during pastor appreciation month.  We are encouraged by your prayers, thoughtfulness and kind words.  May God richly bless his church in all things. The Roberts
