The history of humanity is riddled with battles and the legends that accompany them.

1. 1. 1. 1. 1. And the book of Joshua is no different (Josh 5:13, 1:6, 7, 9, 18).

Is the battle a physical or spiritual battle?

1. 1. 1. 1. 1. Joshua’s misconception (Josh 5:13c)
            2. The Lord’s Correction (Josh 5:14, Mt 12:30
               1. Joshua asks the wrong question.
               2. Who is God’s army? (Josh 5:14, Ps 103:20, Jer 51:20-23, Gen 6-9, Ex 9, Josh 10:11)
            3. We are in a spiritual battle in a material world, Just like Joshua. (Eph 6:12)
            4. So when we are in the midst of the battle, what is to be our posture?

The right response to God’s presence among us
