The gospel

- The gospel as raising up (Ps 138:6, Prov 29:23, Mt 5:3, 11-12, Isa 57:15)
- Where degradation destroys reputation, the Gospel lifts up the lowly
- Where degradation reduces humanity, the Gospel says God took on Humanity
- Where degradation disobeys the one to whom honor is owed, the Gospel says Christ obeyed in our stead, thereby honoring God in every way.
