- So how do we either start the race, or keep at the race with an every quickening pace?

- Jesus begins and completes our faith

- What is God’s goal for us?

- Kept his eyes on the Future
- Persevered through present suffering
- Didn’t take the world’s assessment seriously
- So he gained Glory
- Application
- Punctuate your day with by stopping, praying, and reading the Scriptures
- Daily or weekly reflect upon when you were led away from Jesus and when you were drawn close. Let your reflections serve to open your eyes to the weights and sins you struggle with. Then pray for God to redeem you.
- Remind yourself that Jesus is the one working in you to will and to do according to his good pleasure.
