Last week we heard the final words of Joshua to the Leaders of the People

Reminds them of God’s faithfulness (Josh 24:1-13)

1. 1. 1. 1. 1. Why Shechem? (Josh 24:1, Gen 12:6-7, 35:4-5, Josh 20:7)
            2. God Rehearses the story of his grace and protection (Josh 24:2-13, Ex 23:28, Dt 7:20)

He calls out their double mindedness (Josh 24:14)

1. 1. 1. 1. 1. Put away your Idols
            2. The proper response to God for His faithfulness is
               1. Fear God (Dt 6:2, 10:12, 14:23)
               2. Serve God
            3. Don’t we try to have divided loyalties and multiple Gods we can call upon in our need?

He gives them a choice (Josh 24:15-18)

He warns them about unfaithfulness (Josh 24:19-20, 23)

He reinforces the covenant relationship with God (Josh 24:25-27)
