For if we go on sinning deliberately (Heb 10:26)

               1. 3 “Let us” statements that should guide the Christian’s life in light of Jesus’ great sacrifice and priestly ministry (Heb 10:22-25)
               2. Notice the Audience “WE”
            2. “For if we go on sinning deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins,” (Hebrews 10:26 ESV)
               1. Implies a consistent way of living (1Pet 5:2)
               2. Rejects the 3 Let us commands
            3. The warning: There is no where else to turn!
            4. Eternal judgment (Heb 10:27, 12:21)
               1. The lesser to the greater (Heb 10:28-29)

Apostasy involves 3 things (Heb 10:29)

1. 1. 1. 1. 1. 1. 1. Trampling the Son underfoot
                  2. Profaning the blood of the covenant (Acts 10:14)
                  3. Outraging the Spirit of Grace
                  4. Quotations from Dt 32:35-36.

The Better Way (Heb 10:32-39)

1. 1. 1. 1. 1. Recall your first eagerness to be with God’s people and in the truth of the message (Hebrews 10:32-33)
            2. The Cost you willingly paid (Heb 10:32-34)
            3. Your Motivation (Heb 10:34b)
            4. Your confidence (Heb 10:35)
            5. Endure! (Heb 10:36, 6:20, 12:1)
            6. Press on in the Faith! (Heb 10:37-38)
            7. Remember the Victory! (Heb 10:39)
